About the Role
Habit combines technology with people and insurance. Our platform enables our affinity partners to distribute embedded insurance products in context and with the highest conversion rates.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to play a pivotal role in implementing business logic rules for our partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Develop backend code to implement and maintain business logic rules for our partnerships.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers and project managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Requirements:
At least five years experience in back-end development (Node.js or Python or Node-red)
Experienced using relational or non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis or others)
Experience with REST, JSON, Third-party OAuth integrations, Git
Comfortable with Linux CLI
Open to learning new technologies
Fluent in Portuguese and English
Full-time position based in Lisbon, Portugal, with a hybrid work regime.
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar
